Verizon – Let them tweet cake
Unlike most brands that use the Internet, Verizon powers it. So, when we found out the Internet was turning 50 on October 29th, 2019 we decided to use the power of our network to celebrate in the most internet-y way. We connected 3D food printers to a Twitter livestream and asked the Internet to help us create custom cupcakes in real time. With no paid media support, we reached unprecedented engagement for the brand with over 700k impressions in only 3 hours.
We even got the Cake Boss to recreate Verizon’s first website on a life-sized cake.
